Since we moved to Lake Wales in 1995, my mom and I have annually attended Bok Tower Garden's very special holiday event, Christmas at Pinewood. The 1930s mansion comes to life each year as it is decorated by local designers and volunteers, preparing it for thousands of visitors during the holiday season. Mom and I have even had the privelige of decorating for Pinewood on three different occasions. It's a great local event, and an easy tradition to start in your family or circle of friends. If you're a local blog reader and have never attended, shame on you! Why not consider going this weekend? The cafe at Bok Tower is wonderful too, so go for lunch!
