Only hang original artwork. Hear me out...this is not always the most expensive option. Your artwork should be meaningful, personal and original. Enlarge a beautiful photograph on gallery-wrapped canvas; in an artful way, frame a collection of seashells that your children brought home from vacation; or buy artwork from your local arts center...just this summer I purchased a painting for $100 from a local artist - now isn't that better than buying something generic from some home store at the mall?
