Is your rug large enough for your room? In your living room, at minimum, the front legs of your furniture should be sitting on your rug. In your dining room, the rug should be large enough so that when you pull the chairs out from the table, the back chair legs stay on the rug. However there are always exceptions to the rules...feel free to ask me for help.
